Welcome to the International Boxing Club of Toledo Ohio!

Educational Activities

TheHook

The International Boxing Club, a 501(c)(3) organization created in 1998, operates an amateur boxing club for youth ages 8 through 20 years and for hobby boxing for all ages. Its work, however, extends far beyond the boxing ring. Boxing is the hook that gets children and adolescents involved in no-cost afterschool academic, cultural, social, and service-learning activities.

Fitness Training

ReachingOut

The IBC has been highly successful in attracting hard to reach, disenfranchised youth into its programs: more than 4,000 physically, socially, and ethnically diverse underserved at-risk youth have used IBC’s services over the last 13 years.

Confident Youth

GoodNews

In the past year, the IBC has helped young people improve their grades, say “no” to gangs and drugs, increase confidence, become responsible citizens, and take on leadership roles at the IBC.

A Safe Haven for Youth who are "On the Ropes"

Our family at the International Boxing Club consists of coaches, trainers, educators and program participants. Through our mission to "empower youth in the Greater Toledo Area to succeed in life," we provide a safe and secure environment for youth of all ages and backgrounds. We are able to fulfill this mission by promoting physical fitness programs, academic and vocational programs, community service initiatives and group challenges and field trips.

Unlike any other program in the United States, the IBC provides positive alternatives that go beyond the boxing ring. Our highly trained staff and volunteers work endlessly to assure that the participants are primed for success.
