What is Boxercise?
Boxercise is based on the the same workout that develops the professional boxer’s strength, coordination and balance. At IBC, Boxercise is taught by specially trained boxing coaches.

In the boxing ring, it's one on one. In Boxercise, the only opponent is yourself. Boxercise emphasizes all of the physical and mental benefits of boxing conditioning without the chance of being punched. Boxercise is based upon classic boxing conditioning techniques. The exercise benefits of boxing have long been enjoyed by men, and now women can enjoy the same benefits  without the chance of injury.

Boxercise includes heavy bag and speed bag work, jump rope techniques, mirror work, shadow boxing, basic punching techniques, defensive and offensive skills, abdominal work, weight training and movement drills.

The benefits include reduction of stress and negative emotions and an increase in self empowerment, mental focus and technical mastery of the sport. Training and skill development promote aerobic fitness, speed, reflexes, timing and inner power.

Train your whole body and mind with Boxercise. It's great for all-around fitness and is flexible enough to adapt for individual abilities. Remember, you don’t have to get hit to be fit!
